It is a great way to give back to your club and earn some money too.
Please contact your club as each club has it's own pool of umpires.
To start your umpiring journey, you will need to complete the Rules of Netball Theory Examination and the Foundation Umpire Course.

Umpire Exams
Rules of Netball Theory Exam
Tests the basic rules of the game and is a requirement of all umpires.
The exam is multiple choice and is accessible via the Netball Learning Portal. This exam is to be completed every 4 years.
It is highly recommended that you read the Rules of Netball (2024 Edition) prior to commencing this exam. The cost of this exam is $12.50
Foundation Umpire Course
Provides an introduction to the basic techniques and knowledge required of a netball umpire. The course is for all ages and skill levels.
The course is valid for 4 years and is accessible via the Netball Learning Portal.
